Small by design.Senior by default.

Marketing done the long way around.
Digital1010 was founded by Michael Saad in 2014, after a decade spent moving up through financial services and field marketing, then into the home office as an agency-side account manager for nearly five years. That last stretch is where the shop came from: learning how to actually manage clients, run accounts, and operate an agency from the inside. Every stop before it taught him something different: how large enterprises make decisions, how national brand programs execute in local markets, and what a well-run account feels like from both sides of the table.
What he kept noticing, once he had seen enough of them: most agencies were billing for hours, not for outcomes. Clients were paying for decks and status meetings while the actual work (the code, the pages, the media buys) was passed down to juniors or offshore shops the client never met.
“Build a shop that sells outcomes, not hours. Keep it small. Do the work yourself. Tell the truth about what's happening.”
That was the pitch in 2014. Twelve years later, it is still the pitch. Every engagement is sized to what the client needs to accomplish, not to how many retainers a growth deck projects. When we take on a project, we treat your business like it is ours.
Four rules we won't break, even for a bigger check.
The person who sells the work delivers the work. Strategy does not get handed to an account manager and then to a production pod. The people writing, coding, and buying media are senior and named.
Attention is the product, and we cap the roster on purpose. Every engagement is priced against an outcome or on fixed scope. Never billable hours. You pay for the work, not the overhead of us juggling ten others.
We take work in the eight verticals where the playbooks, the relationships, and the muscle memory already exist. Outside those, we turn the engagement down. Starting from zero is a tax we refuse to charge.
Weekly checklists and real-time updates as things change. Monthly reports. Quarterly strategy reviews. If something is underperforming you find out from us, not from a dashboard at the end of the quarter. If a tactic isn't working, we kill it. If we were wrong about a strategy, we say so in writing.
Six seniors. No layers. No handoffs.

Flex bench: photographers, motion graphics designers, copywriters, and paid social specialists we've worked with for years. They rotate in for specific phases (a shoot, a product launch, a video series) and rotate out. Never used to dilute the core team's involvement.
Five industry awards. Two that actually mattered.
Awards aren't how we measure the work. Client outcomes are. But when the American Advertising Awards put a Gold and a Silver ADDY on the shelf (Gold for LINKS Magazine and Silver for Nutropia, both for website design and development) we took the call. The peer review behind those two feels different from everything else.
Both were past engagements; neither is a current client. We include them because the craft still holds up, and because that kind of recognition is scarce. The other three (regional industry nods and design recognitions) we're grateful for. We don't lead with them. The SaVida case study, the 71% cost-per-lead reduction for a facilities management client, and twelve years of client renewals carry more signal than any trophy shelf.

Eight industries. Twelve years. One operating system across every single business.

Eight industries we know cold.
Healthcare groups
Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling.
Multi-location clinical networks. HIPAA-aware content, careful lead handling, medical E-E-A-T. Where the SaVida work lives.
Organic clicks YoY. Non-brand carried 100% of the growth through AI Overviews.
AI-native, on purpose. Not because it's on the deck.
“AI-native” gets used a lot right now and usually means nothing. Here is what it means for us: we built and run the tools ourselves. Orbit is our proprietary multi-tenant SEO platform, running on Next.js, Supabase, and DigitalOcean. Mission Control is our internal AI agent operating system. It handles research, monitoring, reporting, and ops work across the entire client roster.
We use Claude, ChatGPT, and a rotating bench of specialized models every day, matched to the task. This is not about replacing people. It is the opposite. AI gives five senior humans the leverage of twenty-five, which is why we can keep the team small on purpose and still deliver more strategic depth than a traditional agency twice our size.
Sixty-seven percent off a facilities management client's cost per lead.
The result we care about is the one that lands on the finance team's desk. Not impressions. Not engaged views. Not a screenshot of a platform dashboard. A line on the P&L with a name, a date, and a number that survives audit.
Not every quarter looks like this one. We say so when it doesn't, in the same weekly report. Honest framing is what makes the wins worth showing.
